For a first-time sketch of a bipedal unit, this is quite impressive! I do see a combination of genres and styles here, not just from AC, so there is merit to your originality too.

Just be mindful of each component's placement and perspective as you go, particularly the slight torso tilt and the angle of the feet relative to the ground they're standing upon. Other than that, you're well on your way... :)

O.o kinda complicated? you took on what would drive most 4th year art students mad.i love these things, and you did it so damn well! the detailing is fantastic!
